“Might as well Jump!”
And that is what I’m doing tomorrow morning at 10 am. Much to the chagrin of The Boy and most of my co-workers, my friend Carmen and I are heading out to Virginia to jump out of a perfectly good plane. I’m quite excited, even if this may be my last post on Earth (joking). This is something I’ve always wanted to do, even though I have a seriously wicked fear of heights. But I figure if I can do this, I can do anything (insert Rocky theme music here). Pictures will be taken, so there will be photographic evidence to share with you all! So around 10 am tomorrow morning, send out good thoughts into the universe, as I hurl myself out of a plane…a perfectly functional plane.

You’re both nuts, you realize. Let me know where the celebratory & congratulatory drinks are being imbibed and I’ll happily come and deliver my thumbs ups!
(I don’t know if all skydiving instructors/companies do this, but my last roommate went for a jump and throughout his entire video giving the thumbs up seemed to be a very constant theme)
Yes, I am not a fan of this “jumping out of a plane” thing but if it makes you happy then you have my full support.
This freaks me out. I am so afraid of falling and heights. But am proud of you for trying it!
Sorry to hear that your experience didn’t go so well. I also hated the long wait, but the jump will make it worth it. You’d think that after so many jumps, they’d have planned a better schedule, but what can we do right?
I hope your jump on the 13th goes much better than today! Are you getting the video/pics package? Although you probably read about my problems with my pictures, the video really made the trip, and watching it still brings back a smile.
