@shaw girl – yes it was chilled and i used the right amount of whipping cream so i’m not sure where i went wrong. the dough came out like the consistency of bread dough-not crumbly like yours…

@Moriah – What happened to your crust? Maybe if I know the result, I can help try to figure out what happened. Was the butter cold when you worked it into the dry ingredients?

I tried your recipe tonight. Maybe it’s because I’m a horrible cook but my crust doesn’t look anything like yours in the picture. Could you offer a reason or two why this is? I slowly added the whipping cream to the dough mixture but maybe I added too much. I’m not sure, but I would love to hear from you!

For printing, just highlight the portions you want to print (I just highlighted the recipe), then when you go to the print menu, click on “Selection”, and it will just print what you’ve highlighted.

@ Patricia I’m looking into adding a printer friendly version but all the plug-ins I’ve found don’t work. I’m so sorry about the wasted paper and ink but web design isn’t as easy when you self host as opposed to hosting through WordPress. As soon as I find a plug in that works, I will definitely add it to my site!

Why, why, why! do you not have a place to click on that says printer friendly version????? To get this recipe printed out it printed out everything— 6 pages. What a waste of paper and ink. Please let me know if I some how missed something. Thank you! Patty Hane

I tried your recipe and it has a great flavor! However, you’re right it does look like and has the texture of a pie that’s been knocked around. THIS loser….prefers the true version of Cobbler which is more of the biscuit type.

Welcome back! I love peaches but can only handle eating so much at a time. Unlike corn, which I can eat and eat and eat….and eat!!
I have peaches from Toigo, a couple of them being mango peaches. Really good. I’m going to pair them with blueberries to make a galette.
